As soon as I saw the free range slacks pattern by Sew House Seven, I knew I had to make a pair, they are exactly what I was looking for in a trouser to see me through what’s left of the summer. The pattern consists of 2 versions, a straight leg version and a tapered… continue reading.

What Becs Sews – The Toaster Sweater

Oh Sew

Got some exciting news yesterday! I have been nominated in the best independent retailer in Ireland category in @sewhq British Sewing Awards and I am beyond happy about it! Thank you to anyone who voted for me to get me to this stage, it really means a lot. I know I say it a lot but i am so grateful for all the support i get and to receive this after 4 months in business is just a little ridiculous!!

If you would like to vote for me then you can send off the form that comes inside this months issue of Sew magazine or you can vote online through their website. I would obviously really appreciate it 😊. I cried a few happy tears yesterday and treated myself to a gin in the bath, the last few months have been a little overwhelming but I am loving every minute of it. @ Oh Sew
