100% Irish Linen – Ecru

Out of stock

I am very lucky that the shop is only a few minutes from one of the last working linen mills left in Northern Ireland and even more lucky to be able to bring you some of their beautiful linens. This mill is family run and produces linens for high street shops and designers worldwide.

This one is a beautiful ecru white colour, it is mid weight, and has a lovely movement to it. It is a  deadstock fabric which makes it really unique and also a sustainable fabric.

It is made from 100% Irish Linen and is 150cm/60 inch wide

Machine wash at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry and it is advisable that you prewash before use.

This linen would be great to make a number of garments including jackets, trousers, shirts and dresses. Some patterns I would recommend are:

Burnside Bibs – Sew House Seven

Stevie – Tilly and the Buttons

Sienna Maker Jacket – Closet Case Patterns

Cielo Top and Dress – Closet Case Patterns

Our fabrics are sold in half metre increments, multiple quantities will be cut in one continous piece. The price is per half metre.

Every effort has been made to colour match the fabrics but due to the various differences in people’s monitors, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match.
